After 31 long hours of labor and having family come and go, you were here!

On May 26, 2011 Kenny and I welcomed our sweet baby boy into the world, at 7lbs, 6oz and 21in long, bright blue eyes and dark hair. Unfortunately we had to wait a little bit to hold him; Keegan had to be hooked up to an oxygen machine for a few hours. As soon as the nurse gave us the okay we were in the room to hold him. He felt so tiny in my arms and looked so tiny in Kenny’s. My mom gave him his first bath while Kenny took me to my room where brandie, amber and baby preslie were waiting. Everyone held bubba and talked to me for a little bit then Kenny being the wonderful husband he is brought me pizza hut for lunch. Through the next couple of days we had vistors come see baby keegan.

When Saturday came along we were all ready to go home. We went to my meemaw and pawpaw’s for dinner so they and my aunt Michele and cousin Hannah could see keegan. While everyone was fighting over who got to hold him first I got to take a nap. I learned no matter how hard you try sleeping in a hospital bed it's just not the same as sleeping at some place where you feel at home. Once we were home we gave him his first bath, took lots of pictures and fell asleep watching the Lion King.
